San Francisco 49ers have been having a pretty good season on the field. They are currently leading the NFC West table with an impressive record of 13 wins and 4 losses. While their on-field record has been quite good, the same can’t be said about their luck in the quarterback department. Earlier in the season, Jimmy Garoppolo suffered an injury that ruled him out for the remainder of the season. And now, it looks like the team has another setback in the form of another injury.

Tonight, the San Francisco 49ers took on the Philadelphia Eagles in a highly anticipated match-up. The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the 49ers as the scoreboard read 31-7.

However, the scoreboard was the least of their problems. In the first quarter of the game, Niners quarterback Brock Purdy suffered a right elbow injury during the 49ers sixth offensive snap.

He was originally considered questionable to return and was replaced by Josh Johnson. However, Josh was ruled out of the game with a concussion in the third quarter. This resulted in Brock Purdy returning to the field to complete the game.

Now, WWE Hall of Famer has reacted to the whole ordeal by asking Brock Purdy to get back in the game after referencing his airplane crash.

@brockpurdy13, I Crashed In An Airplane!!! Get In The Game! WTF!!!,” tweeted Ric Flair

Brock Purdy’s injury and Josh Johnson’s concussion is alarming for the San Francisco 49ers to have. If either one of them isn’t able to return for the next game, the Niners could find themselves without a quarterback during the most crucial stage of the season.
