Pat McAfee is credited as one of the most talented and creative individuals in the WWE. He proved his worth, both as an in-ring competitor and a successful WWE commentator, on Friday Night SmackDown. He has been absent for a while now and it seems McAfee is expected to make his return to the company.

In 2018, Pat McAfee made his debut in the WWE, quickly finding himself in a rivalry with Adam Cole. By April 2021, he had transitioned to a role as a color commentator on SmackDown, joining Michael Cole in the commentary booth. McAfee’s unique charisma and approach have earned him praise from both fans and critics, as he has brought a fresh perspective to the commentator role.

Pat McAfee was a part of a match against Austin Theory at WrestleMania 38, a match that was granted by Vince McMahon last year. Naturally, fans loved Pat McAfee’s performance.

According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, WWE talent believe that Pat McAfee will be making his return to the company very soon. One talent even claimed that they had heard McAfee being mentioned for the Royal Rumble.
