Vince McMahon has been at the center of a scandal in the past year involving allegations of payoffs to keep accusations quiet. This situation has been closely followed by the professional wrestling community, as they kept on being shocked by the developments. Ultimately, McMahon reclaimed his position as majority shareholder and Executive Chairman of WWE and has been actively shaping the company’s direction. In fact, McMahon’s return to WWE has led to him shooting up on the list of the world’s richest men.

Vince McMahon’s return to the Board of Directors was viewed as a hostile takeover, as he showed a new ruthlessness to regain control of WWE. This move was met with a lot of negativity. Due to this, he was appointed as the Executive Chairman of WWE, following the resignation of Stephanie McMahon, while Nick Khan remains the sole CEO.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Vince McMahon came back to the WWE offices in Stamford earlier this month. He also brought back Brad Blum as his Chief of Staff, just a month and a half after WWE let him go.

According to a report by Forbes, Vince McMahon’s net worth is $3 billion as of January 23, 2023. McMahon is now ranked #1016 on Forbes’ real-time list of billionaires.

Last year, McMahon was ranked #1397 last year and his net worth was $2.2 billion. McMahon will also not require any approval from WWE’s shareholders to take any actions from now on. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether McMahon will end up selling the company in the future.
