‘BMF’ Star Lil Meech Cleared In Firearm Case After Mixup With Bodyguard

“Lil Meech” Flenory Jr is one of the biggest stars from ‘BMF’ and he also has a close relationship with 50 Cent. In fact, Lil Meech considers 50 Cent a father figure. He was also involved in a firearm case that could have landed him in big trouble. However, it seems he has been cleared in the case after a mixup with his bodyguard.

50 Cent handpicked Meech to be his dad in ‘BMF. According to a report by TMZ, Lil Meech has been cleared in his Florida gun possession case. He was involved in the first place due to misplaced luggage.

In December, Meech was taken into custody at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport after TSA agents discovered a 9MM firearm in a carry-on bag he had placed through the security scanner.

It was revealed that the bag and firearm belonged to Meech’s bodyguard, who was with the actor and told cops the gun was his. However, police officers ignored the bodyguard and charged Meech with illegally carrying a firearm into the airport because he placed the bag onto the scanner belt himself.

Meech’s attorney Bradford Cohen presented proof to Broward County prosecutors that proved the bodyguard owned the pistol, including the purchase receipt, gun case and permit for the firearm.

Cohen stated to authorities that Meech and the bodyguard have a similar preference for luggage. Due to the rush of catching a flight, Meech unintentionally grabbed the bodyguard’s carry-on, resulting in Meech’s own bag being left behind.

The Broward County State Attorney’s Office informed TMZ that they have decided not to press a misdemeanor charge against Meech “due to the facts and evidence presented in the case and the statements given by [Lil Meech] and his employee.” It is good to know Meech is cleared of this charge and that’s all that matters.
