Brandi Rhodes has been a prominent name in the wrestling world, having worked in various roles. Apart from being a celebrity figure, she is also a dedicated parent who recently opened about up parenting advice she received from another celebrity parent-Shaquille O’Neal.

Brandi Rhodes came to prominence as a WWE ring announcer under the name Eden Stiles until her departure in 2016. She has also been an occasional wrestler with a brief stint on the independent circuit. Following this, Brandi joined AEW as their Chief Brand Officer, serving in the company till February 2022.

Brandi Rhodes married Cody Rhodes back in September 2013, and the two dated for years prior to that. The couple was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Liberty Iris Runnels in 2021. While Cody handles the business inside the ring, Brandi spends the majority of her time raising her child.

The former WWE announcer started her own podcast after the birth of her daughter called “Two Lies and One Truth.” She started this as a parenting podcast, talking with celebrity guests about their experiences of raising kids.

Brandi Rhodes opened up about her podcast journey, taking advice from various celebrity parents and sharing her own experience with them as well as the listeners. One particular piece of advice she reflected upon was from basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal, during her appearance on The Tamron Hall Show.

“I think that after a while you start thinking this is the way that everything has to be, this is the path I have to go and this is who I have to be for this person,” Rhodes told Hall. “And then you start talking to other parents who you look up to and you look at — I mean, Shaquille O’Neil is one of my favorite people in general but like tops as far as parenting goes, he’s such a great dad — and to hear him say, hey, stuff happens, move on, it’ll be okay, keep going, keep going.”

The former AEW star stated that her own parents gave her a chance to carve out her own path in her life which led her to become a popular personality in the wrestling world. Brandi Rhodes hopes to embed those similar values of her parents in herself and be the same type of supportive parent for her own daughter.
