For many fans, Jon Jones is one of the all-time greats in the history of the UFC. Since 2021, Jones made it clear he has a target in mind for his UFC return, which some people believe is nothing more than a lofty goal. Now it seems he signed a new contract with UFC and the length of his contract has been revealed.

Jones has also been on a mission to get the kind of pay that he truly deserves. ‘Bones’ had planned on making his return to the UFC last year, but many things delayed his triumphant comeback.

This includes his getting arrested on domestic violence charges back in 2021. This was something many fans found quite shocking. However, UFC President Dana White was not really surprised by the incident.

Regardless, Jon Jones is now set to square off against Ciryl Gane for the now-vacant UFC heavyweight title at UFC 285 in March. The fight announcement was followed by the news that Jon Jones signed an eight-fight deal with the UFC. ESPN MMA reported the same on Twitter.
