Kanye West has been making headlines for several weeks now. The controversies just keep piling up as the weeks pass by. And it looks like fans aren’t the only ones growing tired of the rapper’s antics. His lawyers also seem fed up.
Kanye West’s troubles aren’t getting any better as the rapper is facing multiple lawsuits. However, his lawyers have decided to cut ties with the rapper by using newspaper ads. The Greenberg Traurig Law Firm is looking to publish advertisements for a withdrawal order in two LA area newspapers.
According to legal documents, lawsuits against Ye will continue regardless of his presence.
“Publication of the Withdrawal Order’s contents in two Los Angeles-area newspapers, where Ye appears to reside, will also apprise him of the Withdrawal Order,” the documents stated. “Given Ye’s public status, publication of the Withdrawal Order will likely garner significant media attention, resulting in broader publication and provide an even greater likelihood of apprising Ye of the Order.”
Judge Analisa Torress granted his law firm the motion to drop West as a client in November of 2022. However, just a month later, Greenberg Traurig Law Firm requested an extension to serve Kanye as a client since Attorneys had to serve him in order for a copyright infringement case against him could proceed.
The judge ordered the law firm to serve him the order by December 14, 2022, which is when the trouble began. During this time, Ye’s ex-business manager said he was missing.
Once the rumors of his location leaked, the news of his marriage broke. However, the marriage isn’t legal since they haven’t obtained a marriage certificate. This news came after West finalized his divorce from Kim Kardashian in November of last year. Stay tuned to Thirsty For News as we bring you similar stories.
