Chrissy Teigen And John Legend Welcome Their Rainbow Baby

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen first met on the set of his music video in 2006 and tied the knot on September 14, 2013, in Lake Como, Italy. Since their marriage, John and Chrissy have welcomed two children, Luna and Miles Stephens. And now their third bundle of happiness has arrived as they recently welcomed their rainbow baby.

On Friday, the “Chrissy’s Court” star gave birth to a baby boy, making the Legend family a total of five. Just hours after welcoming the baby boy, John Legend revealed the wonderful news at a private concert.

The crowd cheered as the 12-time Grammy Award winner excitedly revealed that he and his wife had just welcomed “the little baby this morning. What a blessed day.” He also continued saying that he “didn’t get a lot of sleep,” but he was actually quite “energized” that he had spent “a lot of time” with the newborn at the hospital.

Chrissy Teigen took to her Instagram to announce her pregnancy in August 2022  and shared a photo of her cutest baby bump. The couple made headlines when they tragically lost their son Jack in September 2020, only 20 weeks into her pregnancy.

The actress wrote in her post,

“The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again.1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way.

Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘OK, if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still. I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. OK phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”

However, there has been no official announcement about the name of the baby. Congratulations to the couple! This is undoubtedly a wonderful time for them as they start a brand-new chapter in their lives.
