Kevin Spacey began his career in the 1980s and soon found worldwide fame. His reputation came tumbling down when several men came forward accusing him of sexual assault. Kevin Spacey recently pleaded not guilty to seven new sexual assault charges in London.
The latest allegations against the 63-year-old former House of Cards actor arise from a November 2022 lawsuit in which he was accused of sexual abuse against one man between 2001 and 2004. According to CBS News, he submitted his plea through video.
One of the seven allegations is for “causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent.” Three of the charges are for “indecent assault,” while the remaining three are for sexual assault.
In July 2022, Kevin pleaded not guilty to fresh sexual assault allegations in the United Kingdom. He “strenuously” refuted the charges before submitting his plea. The identity of all of his accusers is kept anonymous according to UK legislation.
In the United States, Kevin faced a similar lawsuit in which actor Anthony Rapp accused him of sexual misconduct. The verdict in the lawsuit was issued in October 2022, and the star was ruled not to be guilty of battery.
Despite the ongoing allegations, Kevin was cast in a new film near the end of the year. He has denied and continues to dispute the claims leveled against him. Keep an eye on Thirsty for more.
