Beyoncé and Britney Spears collaborated in a Pepsi ad alongside fellow pop artist Pink in 2004. Enrique Iglesias also appeared in the famous gladiator-themed advertisement. A possible collaboration between the two pop queens has hit a roadblock and seemingly won’t be happening.

Britney Spears was asked to feature in a new music video by the music superstar. However, numerous sources exclusively told Page Six that the collaboration did not materialize. The collaboration with Queen Bey would have been her second music-related project after her controversial 13-year conservatorship ended in November 2021.

Britney Spears made her highly anticipated comeback back in August 2022 with the release of her duet, “Hold Me Closer”, featuring Elton John. The upbeat rendition of the classic hit “Tiny Dancer,” originally performed by Elton John, premiered on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 6, marking Spears’ first entry into the top 10 in the last 10 years.

The collaboration with Elton John was well received by fans with many praising their chemistry and the modern take on the classic song.

Beyoncé is planning a stadium tour across the world for the summer of 2023. Let’s see when she makes the official announcement. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
