Lee, who was Hawaiian by birth, had begun to advance in the sport. In her brief career, she prevailed three times, most recently in a match against Victoria Souza in September 2021.

Last year, Lee put fighting on hold in order to concentrate on getting her high school diploma. Angela stated in an Instagram post that her sister had passed away on December 26 but did not specify the reason.

“We miss you so much sis. More than you could ever realize. We’re all broken.”

“Because a piece of you was in each of us and when you left, those pieces were ripped out of us. We will never be the same.”

Lee is from a sporting family; her sister and brother, Christian, are both ONE world champions. Lee’s siblings served as her most significant sources of motivation, “The Prodigy,” as she was now known, had previously told MMA Fighting.

“I am heartbroken by Victoria Lee’s passing. I first met Victoria when she was 11 years old. I watched her blossom over the years as a martial artist and a human being.”

“I always remember thinking how wise, thoughtful, and selfless she was beyond her years.’

“Of course, she was an extraordinary martial arts prodigy even back then, but I could see that she was so much more than that.”

The ONE Championship, the organization Lee competed for, expressed their devastation over the information. What’s your take on an unfortunate event? Let us know in the comments. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
