Recently, Rep.Marjorie Taylor Greene posted footage of her walking to the house floor with Dr. Dre’s song “Still Dre” as the music bed. This resulted in Dre’s lawyer Howard King sending a demand letter to Twitter to block her post. The social media platform not only blocked the post but also went a step further and locked her account.

Since then, Dre’s lawyer went after Greene in a blistering way by saying, “Mr. Young [Dre] has not, and will never, grant you permission to broadcast or disseminate any of his music.” He further stated in the letter:

“You would have a passing familiarity with the laws of our country. It’s possible, though, that laws governing intellectual property are a little too arcane and insufficiently populist for you to really have spent much time on.”

“We’re writing because we think an actual lawmaker should be making laws not breaking laws, especially those embodied in the constitution by the founding fathers,” he added.

King demanded that Greene cease and desist from using any of Dre’s music and offered a deadline for her to comply.

“Please provide me with written confirmation that you have complied with these demands before January 11, 2023 by 5:00 pm EST.”

We will have to wait and see if Marjorie Taylor Greene will comply with King’s demands in the cease and desist. Stay tuned to Thirsty For News as we stay on this story.
