Kliff Kingsbury joined the Arizona Cardinals in 2019 and led the team to a pretty solid season in 2021 when they finished 11-6 resulting in a playoff appearance. Since then, it has been downhill for the Cardinals. Their 2022 performance was disappointing to say the least.

The Cardinals finished the 2022 season in fourth place in the NFC West Standings. Things went from bad to worse for Kingsbury this year as he was constantly butting heads with Quarterback Kyler Murray before he suffered an ACL injury in week 14.

After a string of poor performances, Arizona Cardinals announced that they’ve fired their head coach after a brutal 4-13 season. Although the now-former head coach signed an extension earlier this year, another disappointing campaign meant that it’s time to move on.

There is no official word on who could replace Kliff Kingsbury, but reportedly they got their eye on former head Coach The Saints Sean Peyton. This firing was the second in just 24 hours after the Texans fired Lovie Smith after just one season. Stay tuned to Thirsty For News as we keep you updated on this story as it develops.
