The Superbowl LVI will go down in history for having one of the most iconic half-time shows. During the show, 50 Cent performed with Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Dr. Dre. However, following the widely praised performance, 50 Cent accused Jay-Z of not wanting him at the Superbowl.

Recently, 50 chatted with Big Boy’s Neighborhood about the tension with Hov and his team. He stated that he wasn’t in the promotional ad for the Pepsi Half-Time because Jay-Z was putting it together.

“I got the call before the [Pepsi] ad went up,” said Fif. “I wasn’t in the ad because of—Jay-Z and them was putting it together.”

When asked if 50 felt he was intentionally left out of the promotional ad, he noted that he was informed that NFL had some issues with him but he wasn’t told what those issues are.

“No. I think that they—they were saying that the NFL had some issues with me. I don’t know what those issues are,” Fif answered. “What is the issue? You see what I’m sayin’?”

Furthermore, he mentioned that when he reached out to find out what the complications were, he didn’t receive a straight answer.

“I have to believe that was something from them,” 50 Cent said indicating that there must’ve been an issue with Jay-Z

This isn’t the first time that 50 Cent accused Jay-Z of not wanting him at the Superbowl. While we don’t know the reason why Jay-Z didn’t include 50 in the promotional ad, we can only hope that these two rap icons can put their differences aside in the future.
