Rolling Stone magazine recently published its refurbished list of the 200 greatest singers of all time. The list contains the whos who of the music industry. However, Celine Dion’s name did not make the cut which seemed to upset her fans.

The Canadian singer’s fans took to the streets outside the Rolling Stone HQ to protest carrying picket signs and chanting slogans. Dion’s fans chanted “Rollins Stone is Stoned” as they bashed the magazine outlet for snubbing their favorite singer.

Julie Snyder led the demonstration and even stated to TMZ that they want Celine to get recognized and an apology from the magazine. It seems like the magazine is taking this protest seriously as the editor came out to talk to the protestors and listen to their cues while also explaining to them how the list was formed.

It’s good to see the fan support Celine Dion has gained over the years. However. it’s highly unlikely that the protest will yield any outcome as the list will take into account several and conditions that won’t be thrown away just to allow on person onto the list.
