Jamie Lynn Spears worked hard to make something of herself throughout her career. Being Britney Spears’ sister, she has always been part of the limelight, even when she didn’t want to be. In fact, Jamie Lynn Spears is suffering from severe self-esteem issues because of her sister’s stardom.

While speaking on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, Jamie Lynn Spears talked about being Britney Spears’sister and what that entailed.

I struggle with self-esteem all the time.

Jamie Lynn Spears stated that while she is “extremely proud” of Britney’s success, she yearns to have her “own identity” and “be seen as [her] own person” rather than living in her sister’s shadow.
