Roman Reigns had an impressive winning streak but that all came to an end this week on SmackDown.

Reigns teamed up with Sami Zayn to take on the team of Kevin Owens and a returning John Cena on Friday’s episode. The match concluded when Owens was able to deliver a Stunner to Zayn, which earned a victory for the team of Owens and Cena.

This loss for Reigns’ marks the first televised defeat by pinfall or submission in nearly three years for the WWE Superstar, with his last clean defeat occurring in December 2019 against Baron Corbin. Prior to this defeat, Reigns had only sustained three disqualification losses. Despite this setback, Reigns remains a formidable force in the WWE.

At the end of the day, Roman Reigns’ winning streak is just a reminder that even the most successful wrestlers in WWE are vulnerable to defeat.
