Jenna Ortega’s performance in Netflix’s Wednesday has garnered universal praise from reviewers and audiences alike, with some hailing it as the best version of the show yet. Ortega’s iconic Wednesday dance scene has got special attention and now has made its way to Russia, thanks to figure skater Kamila Valieva’s adaptation of it in her recent performance.

Valieva performed a tribute to Ortega’s Wednesday dance during the Russian Figure Skating Championship. She killed it when she imitated the dance on ice and added some own steps to the music of Lady Gaga’s “Bloody Mary” and Danny Elfman’s Wednesday Theme.

Despite the series’s original plans to do a flash mob, Ortega said that she created the dance herself and insisted for the solo Wednesday dance scene. She also stated that the crew had anticipated that it would become a TikTok craze.

Although Valieva was among the first to recreate the Wednesday dance for an ice skating arena, she is not the only person to recreate it. In a recent Instagram video, Lady Gaga imitated Wednesday’s dance and used the hashtag “BLOODY WEDNESDAY.” Keep an eye on Thirsty to get the latest updates.
