Ice-T Takes Dig At Backlash Over Daughter’s Playful Twerking Video

Ice-T and his wife have always been on the wrong side of the crowd due to their parenting methods. Since having their baby in 2015, Austin and Ice-T have both punched back at the parenting police, defending everything from breastfeeding to stroller usage. Ice-T recently took a dig at backlash over his daughter’s playful twerking video.

Ice-T is dismissing critics in the aftermath of a lighthearted Christmas video of his 7-year-old daughter, Chanel, twerking. The rapper and “Law & Order: SVU” star recently took to Instagram and captioned a post in reference to the backlash.

My advice is you go into 2023 with THIS attitude if you want to WIN. Everyone is going to hate you anyway, so you might as well give them a reason.

Coco Austin, Ice-T’s wife, had shared the contentious footage of Chanel to Instagram hours earlier that day, informing her followers that the first grader “loves to joke.” In the holiday video, the toddler interrupts her older family members’ filming to demonstrate her own dance moves.

Gotta love family time. Chanel runs out in the middle to bust a move to make us laugh.

Austin later clarified in a comment that her toddler was mocking a character from “Bob’s Burgers,” Tina Belcher. While many social media users recognized the reference to the Adult Swim show and praised the child’s mimicry, others chastised her mother for publishing it. You can check out the post below.
