Kanye West is in the news again. The rapper has been embroiled in a lot of controversies as of late. It started with White Lives Matter but didn’t stop there. Soon after the White Live Matter controversy at Paris Fashion Week, Kanye West found himself in hot water over his anti-semitic remarks. These remarks directed at the Jewish community resulted in a lot of backlash for the rapper.

During his controversial Drink Champs interview, he stated that he can’t be anti-semitic because he himself was Jewish. This didn’t sit well with a lot of people.

Following the release of the episode, the show received a lot of backlash. This resulted in Balenciaga dropping him as well as the Drink Champs episode being pulled down. During a recent podcast interview with MIT research scientist Lex Fridman, Kanye West explained that Balenciaga dropping him and the recent Drink Champs interview being pulled down was the happiest day of his life.

“There was a day where I was headed to Nashville to meet with George Farmer, who is the CEO of Parler, the day when we made the announcement. At that same day, Balenciaga was taking my imagery off of their site, and the Drink Champs was being taken down, and I said, ‘This is the happiest day of my life. I love cutting the grass low. People really wasn’t with you. They was part-time.’”
