A Texas MMA official who has worked in various UFC events is facing two sex-related felonies involving minors. It is natural many people will be appalled after hearing about this.

Robert Griffin Alexander was arrested earlier this month on felony charges of aggravated sexual assault with a child and sexual contact indecency with a child.

According to documents from the 10th District Court of Galveston County obtained by MMA Junkie, a Galveston County Sheriff arrested Alexander at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 14. He was taken to the Galveston County Jail in Gavelston with his bond amount set at $40,000 for each offense. A bond hearing is currently set for November 29th.

On the first-degree felony charge of aggravated sexual assault, Alexander allegedly “intentionally or knowingly caused the sexual organ of (redacted), a child who was then and there younger than 14 years of age, to contact or penetrate the mouth” on or around Jan. 1, 2000.

For the second-degree felony charge of indecency with a child with sexual contact, the indictment alleges Alexander engaged in sexual contact by touching the genitals of a child under 17 on or around January 1st, 2010.

Alexander has worked as a judge at multiple UFC events in Texas. The most recent event was UFC 271, at which he gave a controversial decision in favor of Roxanne Modafferi in her split decision loss to Casey O’Neill.
