Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles may be one of the greatest centers in NFL history and has built up a legacy in that city for many reasons. In tonight’s MLB NLCS game he managed to add another part to his career… hype man!

After the fifth inning of Game 3 in the NLCS between the Philadelphia Phillies and San Diego Padres on Friday night, the Eagles’ legendary center appeared on the field with the Phanatic. They were pumping up the jam-packed Citizens Bank Park crowd and chugging a beer.

Twitter has taken notice and all the buzz and praise for the two brought excitement. Mark Hayes, a columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, tweeted that he knew Kelce was coming to the game. However, he didn’t know that he would be chugging beers with the Phanatic!

#Eagles center Jason Kelce told me last week he was going to come to a #Phillies game. He did not tell me he was gonna shotgun a beer on his knees with the Phanatic.

The Phillies, playing their first NLCS home game since 2010, entered the sixth inning with a 3-2 lead. Will see if the “Fightin Phils” enter the World Series.

Is Jason Kelce the new GOAT? Sound off in the comments!
