Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were seemingly making it work, but then his life took a turn. Now the couple’s divorce is close to being finalized but that doesn’t make Kanye stop loving Kim.

In a recent interview on Friday on “Piers Morgan Uncensored”, Ye opened up about his feelings for his ex-wife. “I may be divorced on paper, but I’m not divorced of the idea of being the protector,” he said. He then went on to explain his point.

“Her name is no longer West. And my name is now only Ye. If we were ever to be together again, what would our name be? Kimye?”

The legendary hip-hop artist continued, “I’ll love [Kardashian] for life,” saying “Oddly enough, I’ll protect her.” In other parts of the interview, Ye also talked about the series of threatening anti-Semitic comments he’d made in previous weeks.

The British broadcaster inquired as to whether West had any regret for a particular tweet in which he vowed to “go death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.” Morgan was told by the fashion designer that he is “absolutely not” apologetic for the disrespectful statement.

“You should be,” Morgan replied, criticizing West for his insensitivity. He then compared anti-Semitism to racism, to which West proudly replied, “Yeah, that’s why I said it.” Stay tuned to Thirsty for the latest updates regarding the rapper.
