This comes after Jericho recently signed a contract extension with AEW that will bring him through 2025. With the new contract, Jericho will take on a more behind-the-scenes role in AEW, serving as a producer and creative advisor for the product, as well as continuing to nurture future talent.

Chris Jericho has been a part of AEW since the promotion first started in 2019. He also became the inaugural AEW World Champion, a title that earned him the moniker of Le Champion. At 51 years old, Chris won his eighth world title, beating Claudio Castagnoli last month on Dynamite to become the new ROH World Champion.
