Logan Paul shocked fans with his incredible athleticism during his SummerSlam match against The Miz. The Maverick got a lot of praise for his dedication to professional wrestling.

After a couple of months of waiting, WWE pretty much made it clear they want The Maverick to square off against Roman Reigns for the titles. They confirmed the match during a recent press conference.

The Maverick tried to get under The Tribal Chief’s skin by calling himself “the table.” However, it backfired instantly and fans made fun of him for that comment. Paul took it quite sportingly as well.

The line is famous online thanks to Maffew’s Botchamania series where “I am the table” pops up whenever a wrestler tries to go through a table, but the table doesn’t break.

While speaking to Ryan Satin of Fox Sports, Paul was asked if he knew of the reference. Paul made it clear that he had no idea whatsoever.

No, I thought I was being incredibly original but also not really because I called myself a table, why would I say that?

I’m also not going to stop calling myself the table. I am the table. Here’s why, I’ll tell you. Roman Reigns, Tribal Chief. Roman Reigns, face of WWE. Roman Reigns, Head of the Table. I am the table. If you remove me from the equation and Roman Reigns is the Head of the Table, there’s no table, he’s just a guy sitting in a chair. With no table, there’s no show. He’s just a guy sitting in a chair. A big tattooed guy sitting in a chair who looks like Aquaman. He needs me. He needs me to make him the Head of the Table. That was the logic there. I’m going to continue to say it, I don’t care how stupid I sound.”

Logan Paul’s brother, Jake Paul, teased a trip to Saudi Arabia to watch the match as well. We’ll have to wait to see if Logan Paul can walk the talk on November 5th in Saudi Arabia.

Do you think Logan Paul can beat Roman Reigns? Sound off in the comments!
