George Floyd’s death prompted one of the most violent civil unrests in American history. Derek Chauvin was held responsible for his death and sentenced to 21 years in prison by a federal judge. Kanye West reportedly stated on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s Drink Champs podcast that George Floyd died as a result of fentanyl and that the cop’s knee was not “on his neck like that.” Youtube is now taking action against anyone who is streaming the interview.

DJ Akademiks, a YouTuber known for sharing news about rappers on Instagram, has now turned to Twitter. He explained how YouTube gave him multiple strikes for streaming the interview. Akademiks also appeared to inform Kanye about how YouTube has turned against him.

Naaaa Kanye got dem people on his ass… YouTube hit me up and gave me hella strikes for streaming the Kanye West / Drink Champs interview. They labeled da whole sh*t as hate speech lol even tho i was giving counters 2 the interview i was watchin. Ye them ppl aint rockin witchu.

Ak told Kanye in his second tweet that he has entered the wrong territory. He warned him that in order to avoid them, he needs to do better on the Parler purchase. He claimed that Kanye has crossed a line that the platforms on which he expresses his views do not appreciate.

During a Sunday appearance on Revolt, Kanye West unloaded more than three and a half hours of anti-Semitic rants, lies about George Floyd, and angry insults about everyone from Trevor Noah to Diddy. During a call to the “Breakfast Club” on Monday morning, TV’s “Drink Champs” interviewer N.O.R.E. apologized for using his platform to have such views aired. N.O.R.E., who only occasionally challenged West during the interview, received numerous furious social media messages for his implicit acceptance of several of the comments.

Kanye’s controversial remarks are just getting worse. Let’s see whether Kanye reacts to Akademiks’ warnings. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
