Keith McNally, the renowned Balthazar restaurant’s owner in New York City, recently took to Instagram to criticize James Corden for repeatedly being extremely rude to his staff. Keith McNally called James Corden a “cretin of a man” for what he claims was abhorrent behavior at his establishment. James Corden has now been “banned” from using Ryanair, the airline, following the presenter’s temporary exclusion from the New York eatery.

The co-creator of Gavin and Stacey was temporarily prohibited from entering Balthazar in Manhattan after the restaurant’s owner Keith McNally said he had been “very disrespectful” to his staff on two separate occasions. Mr. McNally chose to suspend Corden after initially calling him “a hugely gifted comedian, but a tiny cretin of a man, and the most abusive customer” he had encountered in 25 years.

Following the event, a flurry of trending tweets poked fun at and discussed the serious repercussions of Corden’s purported behavior at the venue. As usual, the Ryanair social media team couldn’t help but get in on the conversation and announced Corden’s expulsion from the airline with a picture of him draped in a general prohibition sign.

One person said: ‘Thank goodness. I have a recurring nightmare that I am trying to sleep and he keeps asking me to sing John Denver’s “I’m Leaving on a Jet Plane” with him.’ Another added: ‘Imagine if James Corden just dropped “who the f**k is Ryan” and then closed twitter.’ A third one pointed out: ‘Most people ban themselves from Ryanair to be honest.’ Check out the tweet below.
