The Rocky franchise was revived as a spin-off series with Creed in 2015 and Creed II in 2018. Both films were successful with critics, audiences, and the box office. Now a third installment is on the way.

The first trailer in the next chapter in the franchise, Creed III, was released online today by MGM. The film opens on March 3rd, 2023.

This is the first project in the franchise that doesn’t have the presence of Sylvester Stallone Rocky Ballbola. Michael B. Jordan is returning to the role of Adonis Creed from the previous films, but he will make his feature directorial debut.

Tessa Thompson and Phylicia Rashad are returning as Adonis’ girlfriend Bianca and his stepmother Mary Anne respectively. Jonathan Majors will play the new antagonist, Anderson Dame.

The film which promises that “there’s no enemy like the past”. Strong quote. Hopefully, the film delivers like the first two.
