Fans of the Jeffrey Dahmer inspired Netflix show will be sad to learn that they won’t be able to dress up as the serial killer for Halloween. This is because eBay has pulled the plug on costume pieces paying homage to the serial killer.

TMZ reported that eBay has policies in place that prohibit listings that celebrate hate, violence, and criminal activities. This includes Dahmer merchandise as well. eBay is reportedly sweeping the site on a consistent basis looking for other similar listings that violate policies.

The official policy, listed on their site, says there’s no space for “items closely associated with or that benefit violent felons, their acts, or crime scenes within the past 100 years.”

TMZ also reported that a lot of Dahmer-inspired went up for sale on the website as the show gained popularity. However, this turn of events has proven to be triggering for the victims’ families who have lived through it all.
