Kanye West has faced a lot of criticism lately because of his questionable social media statements. The DONDA rapper has spoken things that are egregiously offensive on all three of these fronts. Kanye West’s episode of “The Shop” was recently pulled due to “more hate speech” and “extremely dangerous stereotypes.”

LeBron James has also chosen to forego airing a future episode of his YouTube series, The Shop, which included Jeezy and Kanye, in order to reject the rapper’s destructive statements. According to a statement given to the Hollywood Reporter by producer Maverick Carter, they decided not to air the episode because of the hate speech used.

Yesterday we taped an episode of The Shop with Kanye West. Kanye was booked weeks ago and, after talking to Kanye directly the day before we taped, I believed he was capable of a respectful discussion and he was ready to address all his recent comments.

Unfortunately, he used The Shop to reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes. We have made the decision not to air this episode or any of Kanye’s remarks. While The Shop embraces thoughtful discourse and differing opinions, we have zero tolerance for hate speech of any kind and will never allow our channels to be used to promote hate. I take full responsibility for believing Kanye wanted a different conversation and apologize to our guests and crew. Hate speech should never have an audience.

LeBron was not there when the show was being filmed. Kanye is still silent on the subject. Jamie Lee Curtis also recently criticized the Grammy Award-winning artist during an appearance on the Today Show after he attacked the Jewish community in a derogatory Instagram post.

Amidst the backlash, West was spotted on a date in Santa Monica, Calif., with a “mystery woman”, who turned out to be model Juliana Nalú. The pair were photographed at celeb favorite Giorgio Baldi restaurant and going clothing shopping.
