Teddi Mellencamp Diagnosed With Stage 2 Melanoma

Teddi Mellencamp is known for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but now she has troubling news to announce. Mellencamp disclosed a shocking revelation regarding her health condition. She announced that she was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma.

The 41-year-old took to Instagram to post a picture of a pink scar with a bandage next to it. Her caption for the post provided an update on her current condition. She had a biopsy done, and the diagnosis was not what she hoped for.

“Melanoma awareness update. Despite my anxiety, I listened to the doctors and went in for my 3-month skin check last week since my previous melanoma. They said I had another abnormal spot near my last one so they did a biopsy. I got the call this morning: Stage 2 melanoma.”

Teddi Mellencamp further disclosed that she will be visiting the doctor’s office the following week to perform some additional testing and biopsies on nearby spots. She advised her followers to follow their doctor’s advice.

“Moral of this story: if a doctor says, ‘come in every 3 months’ please go in every 3 months,” she told her followers. “I so badly wanted to blow this off. ‘What could happen in 3 months?’ I thought. Apparently a lot.”

Mellencamp also posted via Instagram stories shots of her skin before and after surgery. Lots of her fans showered her with blessings while also sharing their own personal experience with melanoma.
