Fat Joe previously chastised Irv Gotti for bringing up his alleged two-decade-long affair with Ashanti on Drink Champs. He also chastised Ja Rule for not speaking up for Ashanti when seated next to Irv Gotti. Irv continued to mention Ashanti in other interviews, and Ashanti has now responded.

On a remix of Diddy’s “Gotta Move On,” Ashanti appears to have responded to Irv Gotti’s latest comments about her. The former Murder Inc. singer collaborated with Bryson Tiller and City Girls’ Yung Miami on a new version of Puff Daddy’s single. Funk Flex premiered it on Hot 97.

On it, she appeared to call Gotti “obsessed” with her for repeatedly mentioning her in interviews.

It’s giving obsessed, it’s giving you stressed / It’s giving you pressed, it’s giving this n-gga missing the best / But it’s been 20 years, please cry less / We can see you and your tears.

During an appearance on Drink Champs in August, Irv Gotti went into detail about his claimed fling with Ashanti. He alleged that her 2002 song “Happy” was recorded after they had sex. Irv received a lot of backlash after the interview aired. According to Joe, it was the moment that tarnished Irv’s credibility, despite his well-known collaborations with Jay-Z, DMX, and Murder Inc.

Irv Gotti said more about Ashanti in BET’s Murder Inc. Story docu-series, alleging their work connection turned into a romance. Irv doesn’t seem to know when to let go. Ashanti on the other hand is so sick of him that she had to address him in her song.

Let’s see how Irv reacts to Ashanti’s song. We’ll also have to wait and see whether Ashanti addresses it in the future. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
