NeNe Leakes is a television personality, actress, presenter, businesswoman, author, and fashion designer. She is most recognized for being an original cast member of the reality television show The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Her son was recently admitted to the hospital after suffering from a heart attack and stroke.
TMZ reports, NeNe Leakes’ 23-year-old son is lucky to be alive after a terrifying medical emergency landed him in the hospital and on the long path to recovery.
Brentt Leakes suffered a heart attack and a stroke earlier this month in Atlanta, according to sources with direct knowledge. Fortunately, Brentt was promptly transferred to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
According to sources, Brentt was hospitalized for many days but is now out and rehabbing. Everyone is optimistic that he will recover completely.
Gregg, NeNe’s husband, and Brentt’s father died last year after a long fight with cancer. Brentt appeared on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” with his brother Bryson throughout NeNe’s tenure on the show.
