Emma Stone’s accomplishments have kept her mostly in the public eye. However, this time, Stone made headlines because of criticisms against her. Recently, at a Mets game, Emma Stone received jeers for wearing Padres gear.

TMZ reports that Friday night, when Emma Stone backed the San Diego Padres in their playoff game, Mets fans gave her a harsh New York greeting by booing her loudly.

The National League Wild Card Series Game 1 was played at Citi Field in Queens, and the Academy Award-winning actress and her husband, Dave McCary, attended to support their team. They are well-known Padre’s supporters.

Fans can check out the clip of Emma grinning while sporting a Padres jacket on the stadium jumbotron. A man wearing a Mets hat attempts to enrage the crowd as the picture cuts to him.

The audience succumbs and begins to boo. In the front row during the Padres’ 7-1 thumping of the Mets, Emma and Dave were also seen dancing, according to observers. Game 2 will take place at Citi Field on Saturday night.

Fans have to wait and see whether Emma returns for more New York adoration or not. What’s your take on Emma? Let us know in the comments. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
