The focus of the industry has been on the long-running feud between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole. Fans must have noticed a video that captured Draymond Green punching Jordan Poole violently during a Warriors practice. Even Draymond Green allegedly called Poole a “bitch” before the punch.

According to TMZ Sports, Jordan Poole’s impending large contract deal with the Golden State Warriors is what sparked the conflict between him and Draymond Green. He is rumored to have made this known around the team’s facilities.

Poole was carrying himself differently in a cocky manner in the days prior to the incident. His claimed actions were causing conflict with several of his teammates, especially Draymond, who has apparently also requested a significant contract.

Poole whistled several fouls during a scrimmage and as a result, Draymond repeatedly branded him a “bitch.” When Poole allegedly added, “You know what it is, Draymond,” the situation worsened, perhaps boasting about the contract issue and Draymond allegedly reacted by asking, “No, I don’t know, what is it?” in Poole’s face.

Then, as seen in the video Poole pushed Draymond back before Draymond strikes his teammate in the jaw. This week, Steve Kerr, Andre Iguodala, and Stephen Curry all defended Poole, denying that his attitude had anything to do with the confrontation. Steph even went so far as to call it “total BS,” the squad is merely attempting to maintain its composure.

After the video was posted, the Warrior’s management kept quiet, and the NBA has not yet commented on the event. Let’s see how he confronts the public. What’s your take on Draymond’s violent act? Let us know in the comments. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
