Along with WC and Crazy Toones, Coolio became well-known as a member of the Gangsta rap ensemble WC and the Maad Circle. The rapper passed away suddenly, and the entire globe is still in mourning over his premature death. Recently, Vanilla Ice got pretty emotional while recalling his last conversation with Coolio.

Ice couldn’t hold in his emotions as he recalled the last time he and Coolio had a heart-to-heart about parenting. He also mentioned that he had temporarily halted his tour in the wake of the rapper’s passing. He opened up about Coolio’s sudden death in a new interview with TMZ.

Ice made an effort to maintain composure as he talked about their last conversation, and it sounds like Coolio’s kids were on his mind. He also said that family was a hot topic of conversation between them. He shared with the outlet that Coolio was all about positivity and was a good friend all this time. After learning of his friend’s passing, Ice also announced that he would be skipping the weekend’s performances since he didn’t feel like putting on a show.

Coolio died in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The rapper who rose to fame in the 1990s was visiting a friend late Wednesday afternoon when he died. Coolio’s longtime manager, Jarez, stated that Coolio went to the bathroom at his friend’s house but when he didn’t return after a while, the friend kept calling for him and ultimately walked in and found Coolio laying on the floor.
