Akon remains one of the most established singers in the music industry right now, whose songs have defined the last decade or so. However, he isn’t without his fair share of controversies.

On the other hand, Michael Jackson has been dubbed the King of Pop and there are very good reasons for that. Jackson’s contributions to the music world cannot be understated and even after his passing, his music continues to break records.

While speaking to TMZ, Akhon revealed that he and Michael Jackson were discussing plans to open a number of music-focused schools across Africa. Akon added that he and Michael wanted to supply students with instruments, infrastructure and industry advice to hone their skills.

“It started off as a concept. Me and Michael was speaking about creating music schools all throughout Africa. Just giving them the knowledge and tooks of the business and kinda help them polish up their skills.”
