Swizz Beatz and Timbaland sued Triller following the sale of their series, alleging Triller of failing to deliver on all promised payouts. The $28 million legal struggle between Swizz and Timbaland and Triller over their Verzuz payments was recently reported to be resolved.

According to Rolling Stone, the two hip-hop superproducers have reached an agreement. Although the facts of their settlement are kept private, both men claim they are pleased with the outcome. Tim and Swizz said, “Verzuz has always been a platform that is by the artists, for the artists and with the people.”

We’re glad to come to an amicable agreement with Triller and continue giving fans the music and community that they’ve come to know and love from the brand.

The hip-hop community rallied around Swizz and Tim after hearing about the case and threatened boycotts. Diddy, Jermaine Dupri, and Styles P were among the rappers who threatened to leave Triller if the label would not treat the Verzuz co-creators properly.
