Floyd Mayweather Is Proud Of Jake Paul But Thinks Canelo Alvarez Would Demolish Him

Canelo Alvarez is considered one of the greatest professional boxers of all time and it is hard to argue why. Alvarez faced off against Caleb Plant for the IBF champion last year.

Last year, the Pound for pound king had an all-out war with Caleb Plant and brutalized him. Caleb tried his best but simply couldn’t match up to Alvarez’s offence. In the end, Alvarez won in the 11th round. Thus, Alvarez became boxing’s only undisputed unified super middleweight champion. 

Due to this, Jake Paul hilariously asked if he should sign Alvarez to his Most Valuable Promotions. The Problem Child also made it clear he wants to throw down with Canelo Alvarez in the future.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, Floyd Mayweather stated that he is proud of Jake Paul but believes that Canelo Alvarez would destroy him.

“Jake Paul, as of right now, for what he’s doing, it’s good for what he’s doing,” Floyd told us. “But once he fights a real actual fighter, it’s gon’ be bad.””But one thing I like about him, he’s selling it. He’s making good money. He’s entertaining. I like it.

He’ll get f***ed up by Canelo.”

Jake Paul is set to square off against Anderson Silva in October. We’ll have to see if he will face Canelo Alvarez one day or not.
