“Friends don’t treat each other like used trash, and that’s how he treated me.”

Zabel admitted earlier this week that Levine allegedly once messaged her with the words “I want to spend the day with you naked.”

The singer’s accuser acknowledged that its conceivable message was intended for his girlfriend at the time, despite the fact that it apparently led to a physical conflict with her then-boyfriend and caused problems in her own love relationship.

Zabel was scheduled to accompany Maroon 5 on a three-month tour as the group’s yoga instructor around the time of the lewd text. She claimed that before letting her go from the gig, Levine “ignored” her message regarding the dubious one he had sent and additionally “never apologized” for it.

“I felt that we cared about each other, and he iced me out during a deeply upsetting time.”

Despite years of keeping the story to herself, she felt compelled to come forward after hearing Stroh’s account of Levine asking to name his unborn child after her.

“If I wanted my 15 minutes of fame, I would have gone public with this a very long time ago.”

“It’s simple. Don’t be a jerk. Don’t treat women like they are disposable or that their value is solely based on their looks. And for God’s sake, please be a role model for your young girls. Children learn by what they see far more than what they’re told.”
