Britney Spears suffered for 13 years due to her conservatorship, and fans continued to support her no matter what. She was finally released from her suffering last year, but things haven’t been good for her as of late.

As previously reported, Britney Spears is back in the studio as she is now working with Elton John. Finally, Spears made her comeback to music with the release of her new track with Elton John. Spears and John collaborated on “Hold Me Closer,” a fresh take on his popular song “Tiny Dancer.”

The track is Spears’ first release after her conservatorship ended in November 2021. It was also said that Spears and Elton John are planning to make a music video for the song.

While speaking to Hollywood Life, Akon revealed that he, too, would “love” to collaborate with Britney.

“I would love to collaborate with Britney on an Afrobeats track,” Akon told us. “I like her music. She is an amazing performer and I really like that about her too.

Anything is possible and I think that Britney’s comeback is very well-needed.

I think it should sound sincere and represent her recent struggles. I think her story is more than worth listening to.”

We will have to wait and see whether Akon will end up collaborating with Britney Spears in the future or not. If anything, it certainly looks like Britney will have no trouble finding talent to collaborate with.
