Kanye is a juggernaut who enjoys being in the spotlight throughout all instances. Fans must have heard about Adidas’s breach of contract with Kanye. Now, Kanye West has declared war on Adidas after terminating his contract with the Gap.

Kanye West has vowed war on adidas following the termination of his contract with Gap last week. On Monday, September 19, Ye took to Instagram with a caption to call out Adidas Originals’ senior vice president and worldwide general manager, Torben Schumacher, for allegedly stealing his designs and halting future business plans.

“Who are the real decision makers at adidas? Torben is a f*cking idiot. Torben stole my designs. adidas stole my designs. They did the Balenciaga collaboration without my knowledge and then stopped my Balenciaga Gap shoes from going to market. Nobody call me and ask me if I’m sleeping. It’s war. We deaded Gap now it’s adidas time.”

“WAR TIME MY FAVORITE TIME.”

Kanye West addressed his grievances with Adidas in another post, while also thanking Chicago restaurant Harold’s Chicken Shack for their support.

“My issue is unfairness. I’m not trying to take advantage of adidas. I’m making sure weeee never get taken advantage of again. Thank you to the owners of Harold’s for your loyalty. They told Gee that they wouldn’t do a deal with adidas until me and adidas was cool.”

“That’s some real Chicago shit. Love y’all for that. I ain’t even know there was still loyalty like that after these past few years. Love you for real.”

In the comment, Ye also made fun of former G.O.O.D. Music musicians Kid Cudi and John Legend, adding, “HAROLDS REALER THAN JOHN LEGEND AND CUDI.” Kanye West uploaded a court letter over the weekend describing the restrictions Adidas and Gap have purportedly imposed on him and his Yeezy company.

“Neither Yeezy nor Ye may use, wear, sponsor, promote, market, advertise, endorse, design, manufacture, license, sell or provide consulting services with respect to any of the following products under the Yeezy Trademarks or Ye’s likeness or any other indentifiable attribute, feature or indica or Ye (e.g. Donda, Pablo or Jesus Walks).”

“Welp I guess the war’s not over,” Ye wrote in the caption. Kanye West has stated that “it’s time for me to go it alone” with his Adidas and Gap contracts. Kanye went to Bloomberg and shared about his company.

“It’s fine. I made the companies money. The companies made me money. We created ideas that will change apparel forever. Like the round jacket, the foam runner, the slides that have changed the shoe industry. Now it’s time for Ye to make the new industry. No more companies standing in between me and the audience.”

Ye’s contract with Adidas is set to expire in 2026. Let’s see which step does Kanye as a result of this breach. What are your thoughts on Kanye’s reaction? Let us know in the comments. Stay tuned to Thirsty for more information.
