Mad Men was one of the more popular shows in the mid 2000s. The show made Jon Hamm a household name, but success comes with rumors.

Hamm was on The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM talk show. Stern did get into detail regarding those decade long speculation about not wearing underwear on the set,

“Jon, did they tell you on Mad Men that you must wear underwear? That your penis is so large that it is in fact interfering with the performance and it’s showing up in the scene?”

Jon clarified to Howard that he’s never gone commando. Not even when he played Don Draper on the Mad Men set, even when he was in his trademark suit.

“I have worn underwear every single day of my life. First of all, who doesn’t wear underwear? Yeah, I wear underwear,”

“I love a comfy boxer brief, thank you very much, “I like a breathable cotton. Come on, man. Who doesn’t?”

Well, it’s Hamm’s business if he doesn’t want to wear underwear, but always a good recommendation, though. At least he was man enough to address things on such a global platform to finally set the record straight.
