Kourtney Kardashian is having an eventful few weeks. After having to debunk a few pregnancy rumors, she is back here again responding to the backlash. This time she has called out annoying rants about her restricting her son’s fast food intake.

Kourtney Kardashian Barker addressed the debate over her decision to feed her kids McDonald’s french fries. According to the Wall Street Journal, she told her son he couldn’t eat the meal. Kardashian Barker described the outrage for her remarks as “annoying” in a recent interview with Vogue.

“We’re a french fry-loving family, to clear that up. We love french fries; we go to restaurants that have fries. Just McDonald’s specifically. I love to avoid fast food when we can.”

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal that was published on September 12th, Kardashian Barker stated that her son had requested McDonald’s french fries. It had been “a year” since he had had them, he told her. In response to criticism, she stated that her family makes french fries at home and that she doesn’t flatly forbid her children from eating them.

The boy in question was identified as 12-year-old Mason by a parenthetical in the Journal report. She later confirmed to Vogue that her 7-year-old Reign was the one who requested the fries. According to Kardashian Barker, she explained to her son and stated, “Today’s not the day.”

Kardashian Barker claimed that one of the reasons she detested working with the press was the uproar the french-fry comment caused in the media. She told Vogue, “This is really annoying; this is why I don’t like conducting interviews.” She criticized media outlets that fabricate stories without providing accurate information.

“I was walking with Travis today and I was like, ‘This is so annoying; this is why I don’t like doing interviews. Other outlets then twist it and make it into something else.”

In the original Wall Street Journal interview, Kourtney said Mason’s birth was when she started on her “wellness journey.”  Now, in addition to her lifestyle brand Poosh, she’s launching a line of edible supplements called Lemme. By the looks of it, Kourtney might want her kids to go down the wellness road.
