50 Cent remains one of the most influential rappers in the history of the hip-hop world. The legendary rapper is currently trying to squash some unsubstantiated rumors surrounding him. 50 Cent has accused a Miami business owner of profiting from a photo he took with her and falsely implying that he was a client who underwent a penile enhancement procedure.
According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, the rapper and entrepreneur has taken his grievance to the courts and filed a lawsuit against Angela Kogan and her businesses, Perfection Plastic Surgery and MedSpa. The In Da Club star claims that he took the photo with Kogan back in February 2020 because he thought she was a fan.
Fifty went on to claim in the suit that Kogan, who runs the Perfection Plastic Surgery And Medical Spa in Miami, first used the image to promote the plastic surgery clinics on social media. She wrote in the initial February 3, 2020 post, “Thank you @50cent for stopping by the number one med spa @bh_perfection_medspa #50cent #bhperfectionmedspa #perfectionmedspa #medspa #celeb #vip #facial #laser #power.” The photo shows the Grammy winner with his arm around Kogan, who’s flashing a peace sign dressed in her scrubs.
A post from TheShadeRoom in August forced 50’s hand after the media outlet shared the photo with Kogan along with the promo text about penis enhancement treatment. 50 says every time Kogan’s services are posted accompanied with their photo together implies that he underwent a procedure which he says never happened. The lawsuit claims the picture is “exposing him to ridicule, damaging his professional and personal reputation and violating his right to control his name and image.”
The rapper wants a court to step in and stop Kogan and MedSpa from falsely saying he’s their client and from sharing the photo and he is also seeking monetary compensation. Meanwhile, Kogan has yet to address the situation. Stay tuned to Thirsty for further updates.
