“Curtain Call: Greatest Hits” was a massive success when it debuted in the states some 16 years ago. A sequel to the critically acclaimed album, “Curtain Call 2,” was announced this summer. Now a hit track from the past has found its way to the compilation.

The track in question is “Won’t Back Down,” and Em dropped a lyrical video of the hit song on YouTube just a day ago. Won’t Back Down was originally released on “Recovery.” It found moderate success upon its initial release but thanks to its continuing use on games and movies, the track gained a cult following.

In 2018, the RIAA certified the track Platinum. Having put “Won’t Back Down” on the greatest hits compilation tracklist Shady Records draws more attention to this underappreciated song. The lyric video, hopefully, will introduce its to an entirely new generation of listeners as well. Check out the video below.
