Britney Spears had a tough time during her 13-year conservatorship. It seems the struggle is yet to be far from over; she is currently fighting for custody of her children. Britney Spears recently stated that her estrangement from her sons feels like “a part of me has died.”

Spears appeared agitated/remorseful/hurt by the estrangement of her two sons, which she blames on Kevin Federline doing a TV interview. Britney took to social media on Saturday to admit that she had more physical custody of her children than Kevin did when they were 6 to 9 years old.

Britney Spears claimed to have her sons 70% of the time. As previously reported, the two children, 16-year-old Sean Preston, and 15-year-old Jayden James have not seen their mother in almost 6 months. Britney explains, “Since they’ve been gone I’ve honestly felt like a huge part of me has died.”

This is a 180-degree turn from her rage aimed at her children on social media, where she called them “hateful,” which sparked a backlash. She also implied that they went on TV to save money because child support payments will be discontinued in a few years.

The custody of the two children has been at the heart of the family feud. Prior to the conservatorship, a family law judge simply stripped Britney of all custody and granted her supervised visits in exchange for random drug tests. She regained custody after the conservatorship was established and things stabilized, and it was roughly 50/50. That began to fade over time, and the kids spent far more time with Kevin than with Britney.

“Like literally I have no purpose anymore — they were my joy, they were my everything. I look forward to seeing them….how it’s so easy just to cut me off like that.”

Britney expressed her feelings regarding motherhood. What are your thoughts on Britney’s recent custody battle? Let us know in the comments. Stay tuned to Thirsty for more information.
