Blueface has made headlines lately for plenty of violent altercations with his girlfriend Chrisean Rock. He might be a popular rapper to be involved in today’s hip-hop game, but like everyone else, he wants to try new opportunities. The verbal blows are still coming even though Blueface was forced to withdraw from his celebrity boxing match against former NBA player Nick Young.

According to TMZ, the California State Athletic Commission recently turned down the Los Angeles rapper’s application for a professional boxing license. Blueface received notice from the commission that his application wouldn’t be approved until he appeared in front of the group in October.

The “Thotiana” rapper was supposed to take on Swaggy P on Saturday night at L.A.’s Banc of California Stadium, but organizers are now rushing to find a last-minute substitute for the card, which is headlined by YouTubers Austin McBroom and AnEsonGib. Young, who last competed in the NBA for the Denver Nuggets in 2018, poked fun at Blueface and his frequently violent relationship with girlfriend Chrisean Rock in response to the news. In an interview with TMZ, he further buried Blueface.

He too busy getting his ass whoop[ed] outside the ring so who wanna take his place?

He been getting knocked out by his girl every day so I think that kinda steered him away from me, kinda scared probably … I think Blueface is too in love right now.

Blueface’s boxing career has seen numerous delays. He was also dropped from the most recent KSI battle night in London when he was meant to compete against professional gamer FaZe Temperrr. His bout with Nick Young, which has since been postponed, was initially slated for July. Check out the video below.
