Wendy Williams hosted ‘The Wendy Williams Show,’ a nationally syndicated television talk show, since 2008. Her talk show ended in June, and Sherri Shepherd is now set to replace Wendy with her own show. Sherri recently received some advice from Oprah Winfrey.

TMZ reports, that Sherri Shepherd will replace Wendy Williams on television in less than a week, and looks like she will accomplish it with the help of some “wonderful” advice from Oprah Winfrey. Sherri was interviewed by the outlet in rainy New York City on Tuesday.

Sherri told the outlet that Oprah, the “Oracle,” offered her some advice on how to conduct herself when she launches her own self-titled talk show. Oprah simply stated that the goal is to spread positive vibes. Sherri may have already taken that advice, since people were chanting her name as she stepped onto the street.

After all, Oprah made a pretty divine comparison, so there’s little doubt she’s taking Oprah’s remarks to heart. “Sherri” is moving into Wendy’s old stomping grounds at Chelsea Studios, and promotion began last week, with a large poster going up where one for Wendy’s show used to be.

According to production sources, the studio was also redesigned, and they’re already booked with celebrities well into the fall. This must be difficult for Wendy; let us hope she recovers quickly, and best of luck to Sherri. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
