Kim Kardashian Admits She Received ‘A Different Level Of Respect’ When She Was With Kanye West

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West first officially met in 2012 and married in 2014. Although, Ye was watching Kim from afar before they met. In 2021, Kim filed for divorce after the couple had four children. Since then, Kanye often harassed her and her former ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson on social media. Despite this, Kim recently said that while she was with Kanye West, she was treated with a different level of respect.

Kim Kardashian is opening up about how her relationship with Kanye West affected her celebrity status. She mentioned it while speaking with Interview editor-in-chief Mel Ottenberg for the magazine’s September 2022 American Dream issue. The SKIMS founder recalled the moment she realized she “arrived in high society.” This was thanks to her partnership with Ye.

I mean, when I was with Kanye, and he was introducing me to a lot of people, I think that definitely got a lot of people to have a different level of respect.

The ex-couple have four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. Kardashian claims that her relationship with West isn’t the only thing that has earned her newfound respect.

I’ve also seen a s— more recently — going to law school, just doing what I want and becoming my own person and people seeing that and respecting that. There’s levels to it.

In the interview, Kardashian also spoke nice things about her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson, with whom she split up last month. When Ottenberg made a BDE joke and suggested Davidson as a potential Interview cover star, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum remarked, “He’s a cutie.”

He’s literally such a good person, they don’t really make them like him anymore. I’m excited for what he has coming up.

Kim recognized Kanye’s influence in her life despite everything he has done. That is actually commendable. Still, his support of Donald Trump and his own wild political antics caused a rift in their marriage.
